In the garden every day,
The gardener digs and digs away
He pulls a hundred thousand weeds
He plants a hundred thousand seeds.
He grows us beetroot red and round
And pulls out carrots from the
Ground
Spinach, cauliflower and greens
Baskets full of peas and beans
Apples both large and small
Raddish bunches white and tall
Cabbage fit for queen or king
Onions tied up with a string
Potatoes all fresh and new
Grapes, mint and turnip too!
A very clever man is he
To grow so many things for me.
