Diwali is our favorite festival! We love decorating our homes with bright lights, drawing colorful rangoli, and eating lots of yummy sweets. But do you know what makes Diwali even more special? Celebrating it safely and caring for everyone around us!
This year, the Tamil Nadu Government has given us some important rules for bursting crackers. We can light them only at two times: in the morning from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. and in the evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. These timings help keep the air clean and the noise low so that elders, babies, and animals can enjoy Diwali peacefully, too.
The government also wants us to use green crackers, which make less smoke and sound. They are better for our Earth and safer for us! When bursting crackers, we should always have an elder with us and wear cotton clothes. It’s also smart to keep water nearby, just in case a spark goes the wrong way.
But Diwali is not only about fireworks. It’s about lighting diyas, helping our parents, sharing sweets, and spreading smiles. We can all try to burst fewer crackers this year and light more lamps instead. The world looks prettier when it shines with love and care, don’t you think?
So friends, let’s follow the Tamil Nadu government’s rules and celebrate a safe, clean, and happy Diwali together. Let’s be the little heroes who keep our festival bright without making the Earth cry!
