Hi children, On this special occasion here are two stories for you….

STORY NO 1

BE WISE WHILE COUNTING

One day in Akbar’s court someone asked the question, "How many crows are there in the city?"

No one had the answer.

Birbal quickly replied "Four thousand three hundred and twelve."

He was asked how he was so sure.

Birbal said, " Send your man out to count the crows. If it is lesser than this number then some crows are away visiting their families elsewhere and if it is more than this number, then some crows from outside are visiting their families here."

Akbar was very happy with the answer and showered Birbal with gifts for his wit.

Moral of the story: Sometimes you have to learn to think outside of the box.

STORY NO 2

SHAKE OFF YOUR PROBLEMS

A man’s favorite donkey falls into a deep precipice. He can’t pull it out no matter how hard he tries. Suddenly he has an idea.

The man pours soil onto the donkey from above. The donkey feels the load, shakes it off, and steps up on the soil. More soil is poured.

This time too, the donkey shakes off the soil and steps up a little more. The man continues to pour more and more soil. As the level of soil rose, the donkey too keeps stepping on it and rising up.  By noon, the donkey was out of the precipice and  grazing in green pastures.

Moral of the story: After much shaking off (of problems) and stepping up (learning from them), one will graze in GREEN PASTURES.
