🎄🌟The Christmas Star That Missed the Sky

brightest Christmas star is kindness

In a small town, Christmas stars shone from every balcony. Paper stars, plastic stars, and glowing stars danced in the night wind. Everyone believed the brightest star would bring the happiest Christmas.

Little Arun made a star from old newspaper and bits of gold foil. It wasn’t shiny like the others. On Christmas Eve, while climbing a stool to hang it, the string snapped. The star fell and rolled into the street and to the nearby tea stall.

As Arun chased it, he saw a stray puppy shivering near the tea stall. Arun wrapped the puppy gently in his Christmas shawl, and carried it home. He used the newspaper star to line a small box and keep the puppy warm.

That night, Arun had no star hanging outside his house. He felt a little sad, but he hugged the puppy and fell asleep.

At midnight, something magical happened. The houses around glowed as usual—but Arun’s home shone the brightest. It wasn't lit with bulbs, but with laughter, warmth, and soft barking. Neighbours felt happy just walking past.

The next morning, the puppy wagged its tail, and Arun smiled. He understood then: the real Christmas star wasn’t meant for the sky. It was meant to light a heart.

From that year on, the town remembered: The brightest Christmas star is kindness. ⭐🎁

Moral: Love and compassion make the true light of Christmas.
