Dr A. Alagesan PhD is a Writer, Poet and social server, District Revenue Officer service completed. Wrote 30 books sofar viz novels, short stories, poems, essays, one autobiography. Every year plants palm trees, conducting free eye camps.  More than 70 awards awarded to him important of which Tamil Nadu Governments Singaravelar Award with one lakh rupees, one sovereign gold, Salem Tamil Sangams award with rupees ten thousand, Honourable Governor's Award with a silver medal and citation.
